1. General Eligibility for Returns
1.1 Timeframe
- General Products: You may return most unopened and unused products (non-Byrna) purchased from StayReady4It! within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Byrna Products: You must request a return authorization for Byrna-branded products within 30 days of the purchase date, as per Byrna’s guidelines. After 30 days, no returns can be accepted unless it falls under a Byrna warranty claim (see Section 2 below).
1.2 Condition of Products
- All items must be returned in new, unopened, and unused condition, with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
- Products showing signs of use, tampering, or damage may be ineligible for a refund or subject to a restocking fee (see Section 2.3).
1.3 Exceptions
- Items sold as “Clearance” or “Final Sale” are not returnable.
- Any other exceptions or limited-return items will be clearly noted on the product page.
2. Byrna-Specific Return Policy
As an authorized reseller of Byrna products, StayReady4It! follows Byrna’s official return guidelines. For more information, please review Byrna’s Return Policy.
2.1 New and Unused Condition
- Byrna products must be unopened and unfired to be eligible for a return or refund (unless you are claiming a manufacturer defect within the warranty period). Breaking the tamper-evident seal, using CO2 cartridges, or firing projectiles may render the product ineligible for a return unless it is proven defective under warranty.
2.2 Warranty Claims
- If your Byrna product is defective (e.g., operational failure) or arrives damaged due to shipping, contact us immediately with photos and details.
- Defective Byrna Products: Byrna’s manufacturer warranty may cover repair or replacement. We will work with you and Byrna to resolve any warranty issues. However, all final warranty decisions rest with Byrna.
2.3 Restocking Fee
- Byrna charges a 20% restocking fee for returned launchers and certain accessories, as stated in Byrna’s official policy, unless the item is deemed defective under warranty.
- Original shipping fees are nonrefundable.
3. Return Process
3.1 Obtain a Return Authorization (RMA)

- Byrna-Specific Note: We may need to coordinate directly with Byrna for final approval or RMA issuance, especially if it’s a warranty or defective claim.
3.2 Packaging Your Return
- Repack the item securely in its original box with all manuals, accessories, and protective materials.
- Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the return package. Returns without an RMA may be refused or delayed.
3.3 Shipping the Return
- Unless otherwise noted (e.g., for defective items), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
3.4 Inspection & Processing
- Once received, we will inspect the product in accordance with this Policy and Byrna’s guidelines.
- If the return is denied (e.g., product used or tampered with), we will notify you and may return the item at your expense.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
4.1 Refund Method
- Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to alternative accounts or methods.
4.2 Processing Time
- Please allow 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return for your refund or exchange to be processed. Your financial institution may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
4.3 Shipping and Handling Charges
- Original shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable. If an item is returned as defective under warranty, we may (at our discretion) cover or reimburse return shipping costs.
4.4 Exchanges
- If you wish to exchange your item for a different model or accessory, please contact us. After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will process the new shipment. Additional costs (e.g., price difference or shipping) may apply.
5. Limitations and Disclaimers
5.1 Legal Compliance
- It is your responsibility to ensure that purchasing and returning any self-defense product (including Byrna products) is lawful in your jurisdiction.
- We may refuse returns or exchanges in cases where local, state, or federal law restricts the resale or transport of non-lethal self-defense items.
5.2 Condition and Use
- Byrna launchers and projectiles are not toys. Any use or testing of the launcher outside of what is recommended by Byrna voids your ability to return it unless covered by warranty.
5.3 California Residents
- If you reside in California (including Fresno), you must comply with all applicable state and local laws regarding non-lethal defense products. Some localities may have additional regulations.

We reserve the right to modify or update this Return Policy at any time. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting the updated Policy on our Site. Your continued use of our Site or purchase of products after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
